STROLLING BETWEEN ROME & FLORENCE

DAY 01: ROME-ARRIVAL
You are greeted upon arrival and transferred to your hotel to begin your Italian holiday. Enjoy a free day in the "Eternal City.
DAY 02: - ROME
Tour of the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, site of Bernini's fountains, and St. Peter's Basilica, seat of the Roman Catholic Church. Tonight enjoy a dinner at a restaurant renowned for its pasta. (B/D)
DAY 03: ROME - ASSISI
Transfer to the train station on your own for the morning train to Assisi in Umbria. You will be met and transferred to the hotel booked for you, for a welcome drink . There will be time for you to explore the property, take or just relax beside the pool. Enjoy a special dinner tonight. (B/D)
DAY 04:- ASSISI/COOKING CLASS
After breakfast you will be introduced to classical Umbrian cuisine. Your cooking class will provide background information on the history of local foods and will guide you through the preparation of typical Umbrian dishes which you will enjoy for lunch. Your day continues in the afternoon with a spa session of your choice (please, see the list below). Dinner included tonight. (B/L)
DAY 05: - ASSISI
After breakfast prepare for a day of sightseeing in the beautiful hill towns of Umbria. You will taste and shop for Umbria's finest gastronomy selections en route. Discover an old olive oil farm near Assisi and a winery in Montefalco. Free time for lunch (not included). Enjoy the opportunity to taste the local cuisine or to relish some personal leisure time. Return to your hotel for overnight and dinner. (B)
DAY 06: - ASSISI/TUSCANY
Transfer to Assisi train station to board your train for Florence. You will be met and transferred to your hotel, for your first overnight stay in Tuscany. (B)
DAY 07: - FLORENCE
A free day to discover Florence and visit on your own this Renaissance city. You may wish to take a local city tour which visits the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Academy of Fine Arts and many other highlights of Florence. Tonight enjoy a special dinner at typical restaurant to enjoy the local cuisine and wines of this region. (B/D)
DAY 08: - FLORENCE/RETURN
Transfer from your hotel to Florence airport for your flight home or for departure to your next destination. (B)
