On request the Accademia organizes:

The Accademia Lingua Italiana Assisi, a school located in the heart of Assisi,
Italy,
offers courses in the Italian language and culture. It is open to anyone interested
in the intensive study of the ITALIAN LANGUAGE, and specializes in teaching
non-native speakers of all ages. Language and culture courses are offered year
round, with lessons taking place Monday through Friday. Each class is limited to
a maximum number of 12 students to enhance participation and Italian language
learning. Upon completion of each course the Accademia issues a certificate of
completion.
The Accademia adopts a communicative-situational approach that enables students
to quickly and confidently speak fluent Italian. The teachers all have university
backgrounds, with many years of professional experience in teaching Italian to
non-native speakers. They utilize a number of modern, tried and tested multimedia
materials authored by the director of the Accademia.
Upon request, the Accademia will organize individual lessons, courses of Italian
language and culture for groups of students during any period of the year. Such
courses include focus on literature, art, cinema, and music. Courses are also
available with emphasis on singing for the professional and semi-professional
vocalist, cooking courses, and painting courses. Courses may be arranged during
holiday vacations. Also upon request, the Accademia will arrange excursions and
trips on weekends. The Accademia offers students assistance in making arrangements
for living accommodations during the study period. It is also able arrange
transportation between the Rome airport and Assisi. It offers free preparation
for the CILS examinations.
Students will benefit greatly from the many advantages of the Accademia's
learning atmosphere. Free social programs are featured on a regular basis for
students to interact with each other and build friendship. The facilities house
a film viewing room, a music room with a piano for musicians and singers, a
video library filled with the classics of cinema and film documentaries, a
library with textbooks of Italian language and literary classics.
The Accademia takes pride in the success of its program and the satisfaction
of its students. It works to adapt its curriculum to the needs of the particular
students and groups. It holds expectations from the students for the commitment
to learn and offers the atmosphere that will best achieve goals of learning for
everyone involved.
