PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
DAY 1 - Afternoon arrival at Hotel Vlla San Carlo. Meet Sommelier Carlo Zarri
owner-chef of the hotel. Visit his large wine cellar. Time to relax. Dinner.
DAY 2 - Breakfast. First wine class on Wines of Piedmont and Wine Tasting
Techniques.
Afternoon excursion in the Barolo wine area. Visit a famous wine cellar and tasting.
Stop at Grinzane Cavour Castle. Dinner at Villa San Carlo Hotel.
DAY 3 - After breakfast second wine class on: Barolo and Barbaresco wines,
and Wine Production/Wine Aging Processing. Afternoon sightseeing of Alba (famous
for its withe truffles) and the village of Barbaresco. Wine tasting at well-known
winery. Return to Hotel Villa San Carlo for dinner.
DAY 4 - Breakfast and departure for your next destination.
