This excursion takes place around one of the best Tuscan wineries owned by the Antinori Family, one of the first to produce the now famous Super-Tuscan wines.
The Estate is located in a spectacular agricultural area of Tuscany and is unanimously recognized as the birthplace of Sassicaia, also known as the first super-Tuscan wine. This wine is a blend very similar to the Bordeaux Premier Cru wines.
This exclusive excursion will provide an in-depth look of the wine process and the vineyards that produce this legendary wine. In 2005 at Christie’s action in New York a Salmanazar bottle (9 liters) was sold for $33,600.
